Sunday

I had a shock and almost a panic attack this morning.
My work was in the morning shift today.
As usual, mornings are the most boring since there weren't many customers.
And I was stuck at the counter with Winnie.
I won't open my mouth to reveal the problems with Winnie.
People who I'm close with will know.
Ok, back to the point.
It was 40 mins past 11 when a customer pointed out.
"There's a fire! A fire." While pointing his fingers towards the ceiling outside of our store.
I turned and he was right.
One of the ceiling lights were giving off sparks.
And those sparks are falling down below to other floors.
As I watched a fire appeared.
Burning the strip of layer of material that was the ceiling.
The strip hung down, fire ablaze.
And a part of it fell.
I heard gasps and murmurings from customers who were at 4th floor.
I was seriously worried, man.
I was scared if anybody was below when the burning strip fell.
Luckily, one of the concierge guys quickly grabbed a fire extinguisher and put out the fire.
The whole floor was fogged with the smoke.
Even the customer I was handling ran away, saying she will come back again.
But didn't even see a single hair of her again.
Oh well.......whatever.........................
Nevertheless, it was definitely a worrisome incident.
You can't know for sure, if the fire is really only that small.
It might lead to something much bigger and dangerous.
Woooo, I get the shivers just thinking about it.
Since I was standing not that far away from the source of fire.
I'm glad it's over, and everything's fine and dandy.

Saturday

Went to see the SP Daiko Drum Concert today.
I really like the performance.
Well, I don't really know that much about daiko but I do know that I have the interest at heart.
I can see that they have put in their utmost effort to make the show a success.
And I believe the audience have felt it.
Good job guys.
And Chia Fang, that's the chibi girl beside me in the picture above.
You did an impressive job, girl!!
Even if you said you were nervous or that you did a mistake while performing, it wasn't visible at all.
So give yourself a good pat at the back.

The intensity of the performance, the vigor, the enthusiasm really left me feeling motivated.
Somehow, I left the place with high spirits.
And also a grumbling stomach.
Hahahahaha............well, I didn't have anything to munch on since I woke up this morning.
Oh wait, I did ate one pack of Oheyo chips.
Which I emptied less than 5 mins.
I head over to my part-time job and ate a cup of tom yam noodles as I wait for my sis to finish her shift.
Went home together after that.

Wednesday

Wow, yesterday was such a 'wonderful' day.
If you get my drift.
Want to know what kind of events occurred yesterday?
I'll tell you.

The figures on the clock showed that it was 35 mins past 5o'clock.
I have just stepped out from my house and had pressed the button on the lift.
While waiting for the lift to arrive, I heard a child's screams and cries.
I had thought that it could be just a kid who had gotten a scolding and was crying.
Wohohohohohoho................
When the lift door opened up, I was expecting to see a crying kid but with someone else.
Instead, I just saw one little boy alone, screaming and crying.
I stood staring at him for a moment, getting my thoughts cleared up.
Oh gawd, a lost kid.
The kid seemed to be Indian or Malay, can't really say.
Shit, what am I supposed to do?
I knocked on my door and told my mom I found a lost boy.
The kid was screaming even louder until I thought my eardrums had burst a vein or two.
Really, it was sooooo loud.
My mom told me she will handle the matter and told me to go or else I might be late for work.
Just as I was entering the lift, an indian guy appeared from the stairs.
I had no idea what he was talking about but I supposed he was looking for the kid.
By then the kid was screaming "mummy!!! Mummy!!!"
The guy said the mother was running after him.
And yeah, I saw a lady emerging from the stairs.
She dropped from my sight once she saw her son.
Fainted, I guess.
Oh well, all's well, then.
Thus I made my move.

Work was as per normal.
Except for the closing part, that is.
We had done all our settlements and counted all our money.
Suddenly, I heard a lady's voice from the door, that was supposed to be closed.
Gosh, it's the same lady from last time.
Wow, she was sooo clever to push open the door.
And as the last time, she was crying and looking all desperate.
Saying that she wanted to buy teeth products and that she really needed them
Went to watson but the people over there disregarded her.
Celeste, my sub-manager, gave her way.
Told Jason, a second-jobber cashier, to follow her to the items that she needed.
She took a long time, I tell you.
And while she was paying for the items, Jason motioned to me with his mouth, "Check her bag".
I was a bit confused until he wrote using his phone,
"She took some items in her bag."
I took his phone and shove it under Celeste's nose.
Hahahaha........but that person don't really know how to handle, man.
She kept asking the lady whether that was all the items that she needed.
And let her go just like that.
I can't really do anything much.
Just a part-timer, that's me.
So I have nothing else to say.
In the end, we left the store a few minutes before 11.
Ughhhhhhhhh.............................
Yeah, at least it ended.

Tuesday

Watched all 20 episodes of Painter of The Wind.
Definitely a must watch.
Though I wished the ending was different and hope that they'll make a second season or something.
In actuality, I have no interest in these type of period dramas, but to those of you who has the same mindset as me, I suggest you try watching this drama.

I've started my exercise regime since yesterday.
Really had forgotten the feeling of that ecstasy when you feel all drained out and your muscles are screaming at you.
Let's hope I'll keep up this routine, yeah??

Finally the leggings that I ordered from the blogshop is here.
Woohooo.........gonna collect it this thursday.
Quite exciting, hur hur hur........................

And I feel that time is really moving too fast.
On the train this afternoon, I had a sudden vision of the time fast-forwarding and I was already a full-fledged adult.
Is there such a term?? Lol.
I mean I was already a forty-something woman and was wondering how I'll be like at that time.
Will I still be a clumsy, unknowledgeable person?
Or would I be a much wiser person?
It is quite interesting if you think about it.
Imagine yourself in the future.

Thursday

Feeling quite free and relaxed at the moment.
Since crit is over and school is out for 2 weeks.
Thus it is the time for me to catch up with my k-dramas.
Yahoo!!!!
I started watching Painter of The Winds.
Seriously, it is worth the watch.
I've known about this drama long ago but since it is in the historical genre, which I'm not a biggest fan of, I decided not to watch it.
But well, hold and behold, this drama is good, comedy and tragedy all in one.
And one of my favourite actress is the main lead in this drama.
Moon Geun Young is her name.
I will give her acting a big two thumbs up!!!!
Her role in this drama was a girl who disguises herself as a male.
Definitely convincing acting.
Totally a very good actor.
Alrighty then, gonna continue the drama.
Chaozzz people.
